Back to Phuket: Songkran Day 2

Back to Phuket: Songkran Day 2: After getting to shoot the monks, I went back to my hotel (Muay Thai Fighter House) and got prepared for the day. Bikini, board shorts, waterproof camera casing, and that was about it. I didn’t need to be super prepared as Tiger Road had been chosen as the location of the Songkran festivities that day. Three places up and down tiger road there were stages set up for music and performances. One of the stages was literally out my window so there was no sleeping in that day. The second day of Songkran was a lot more fun for me because it was brutal the first day with people purposely attacking you in the face with water or the Thai’s who wanted to be mischevious dousing you or wiping your face with prickly heat powder. On Tiger road it was a lot more friends hanging out and having water fights with each other.
